Standard Return Policy
Purchased items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item’s cost, subject to the exceptions outlined below.

Non-Returnable Items

• Electrical components are not eligible for returns or refunds.
• Federal regulations prevent the return of engine-powered products that have been fueled or lubricated. If fuel or oil has been added, warranty repairs may be available through an authorized service provider.
• Custom-made products built specifically for you and shipped directly from the manufacturer cannot be returned, as these are not kept in our inventory.
• Items that have been installed are not returnable. Damage caused by improper installation falls under the responsibility of the customer or installer. Warranty claims may be submitted, but coverage for installation-related issues is at the manufacturer’s discretion.
• Two-stroke engines filled with unmixed gasoline are ineligible for return.

Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before shipment, provided they are not special orders. Once an item has shipped—either to our facility or directly to you—cancellation incurs a 20% restocking fee. Refusing delivery will subject the order to our standard return policy. To cancel, contact us at 704-485-3960.

Defective Product Repairs
If an item arrives defective or malfunctions, our team or the manufacturer’s service center will assist you. Repairs or maintenance for warrantied items will be provided at no cost.

Return Requirements
Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by all original documentation (e.g., manuals, guides).

All items to be returned not covered by Route Package Protection require a return Material Authorization Number (RMA). To request an RMA and detailed return instructions, call us at 704-485-3960 or email us at info@cornerstoneequipment.com.

Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds or exchanges will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.

Shipping Costs for Returns
Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable. For items originally shipped free, the outbound shipping cost will be subtracted from your refund. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Oversized items requiring freight must be returned with prepaid shipping arrangements.

Delivery Refusal
If you refuse an order delivered via our in-house service, you may request a refund for the item price, but delivery fees will not be refunded.

Restocking Fee
A 20% restocking fee applies to all returned items.

Transit Damage
Customers must inspect items upon delivery and note any damage before signing the carrier’s receipt. Damage reported after signing will require the customer to file a freight claim and coordinate repairs or returns.

Claims with Shipping Insurance
We partner with Route Package Protection to streamline returns. Eligible orders include this protection by default, though you may opt out at checkout. To file a claim:

1. Access the Route Package Protection portal via their app or your order confirmation email.
2. Input your email and order number.
3. Select the affected items and describe the issue.
4. Provide additional details.
5. Choose your preferred resolution.
6. Review your claim summary and track updates.

Returns Without Route Package Protection
For orders without Route Package Protection coverage, contact us at 704-485-3960 or info@cornerstoneequipment.com for an RMA and return instructions. Items lacking an RMA will not be accepted.

Obvious Damage
If damage is immediately apparent, refuse the delivery and call 704-785-3960 right away to initiate a refund or exchange.

Hidden Damage
If packaging appears damaged but the item seems intact, note “Possible Shipping Damage” on the delivery receipt in the driver’s presence. This simplifies returns if damage is later discovered.
